Description
Since 2013, Montana’s Peer Network has been dedicated to promoting Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies: A Peer Approach across communities large and small. Through health fairs, presentations, media outreach, webinars, and trainings, we have shared the power of whole health wellness and peer support.
Our trainings explore topics such as trauma-informed care, co-occurring disorders, and advocacy—emphasizing the vital connection between mind and body. Led by individuals in long-term recovery, these sessions foster education, engagement, and personal growth. This initiative was made possible through a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
Now, as we celebrate 10 years of Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies, we are proud to present this workbook infused with SAMHSA’s Eight Dimensions of Wellness: emotional, physical, environmental, spiritual, intellectual, social, occupational, and financial well-being. Featuring recovery stories, interactive exercises, puzzles, and thought-provoking prompts, this workbook serves as a guide for self-exploration and holistic wellness.
We hope it becomes a valuable tool in your journey toward a balanced and fulfilling life.
